Busy busy busy

Hey, so I don’t have a whole lot of time today. But transfers were today and I’m STAYING WITH HERMANA LOPEZ!!! Aaah, we were super excited. It is pretty great together. I can’t complain at all!

We have been working with some really cool investigators and we have found some new ones that are amazing! We met Nancy and two of her daughters this week. Then two days later we met one of her sons, and then yesterday we met another daughter. And they are all super amazing and have the desire to learn about the gospel.

They never grew up in a religion and don’t know a whole lot about the different religions, but they are looking to find one and to find the truth. We have started teaching them this past week and they are so amazing. We are praying and fasting for them!

Also another investigator, Hector, is the brother of Grisel and Norma and he is also super cool and is reading the Book of Mormon!!!

Today for p-day we played volleyball, the two zones together, and it was super fun!

God really answers our prayers, and listens to us! Please pray, but pray with your heart. Alma 38 touched me this past week!

I’ll write more next week!

Pumpkin Pie

We are in Week 6 of this cambio!!! What in the world happened to the time?!

It is spring here! Not literally, it is still winter but look at the colors!
So here is a recap of week 5:

This past week we have broken the ice with Sofia’s dad! Sofia is the little girl that has been coming to church with us. We have taught the mom and Sofia but never with the dad. He says he is an atheist. But this past week we had a noche de hogar with them and we invited him to pray. He accepted. We then had another lesson with the family and then they invited us to lunch on Sunday! We went to their home and the rest of them ate asado [grilled beef], but the brother had baked a fish as well, and so I ate that!

We have another family home evening planned with them for tonight. We are going to watch “Meet the Mormons”! We are taking brownies and they are making Reviro. It is a Paraguayan food that I’ll show my family when I get home. Haha. It is basically fried flour balls, but it is good. haha. It should be super good tonight. We are really hoping to baptize them as a family!

This week we also were able to have a family home evening with all of the sisters in the zone. It was super fun. We all made food from our countries and shared. I made a pumpkin pie!
Our sister Slumber Party, family home evening!

Hermana Vierialves is from Brazil and she made these, they were delicious!
Life is going really good. This is the last week of the transfer and I’m a little nervous about what is going to happen in transfers. We will see and I’ll let you know next Monday!

This week I was studying Alma 33 and 34. It is super amazing to read and look at how many times it mentions Jesus Christ. Honestly, it is true what it says in Alma 34:32 and 33 about this life: we are just preparing for our eternity. It all depends on what we do here on earth and how we live our lives.

Keep doing what is right, God is watching! I love him and know that he loves YOU!
